Net-zero emission is a global consensu. Nearly 100 corporate CEOs stand together.

Net Zero has become a global consensus, and many governments and large corporations are competing to invest in the transition. In the face of the deteriorating global environment and the trend toward low-carbon development, how should Taiwan's Net Zero transition proceed?

Recently, the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) once again joined hands with the Federation of Manufacturers of Industrial Zones of the Republic of China (FIMZ) to organize a seminar to call on more than 100 CEOs of enterprises to support net-zero, and to accelerate the pace of transformation by launching a demonstration through the industrial chain's "leading by the big and leading by the small" model. In order to gather the industrial sector's determination to reduce carbon emissions, the workshop will help build up enterprises' carbon management awareness through the exercise of calculating carbon emission data from their own factories and counseling assistance, so that the awareness and capability of net-zero can be spread to the industrial areas.

Whether it's "digital transformation" or "net-zero sustainability," Taiwan can't afford to stay out of it, and in addition to government agencies, corporations are also taking more active action.
