Absorbent Sanitary Materials (Diapers) Recycle and Reuse

Most of the water-absorbent sanitary materials (diapers) are disposed of by landfill or incineration. At present, about 1,300 tons of waste diapers are produced in Taiwan each day. Which is equivalent to occupying an incinerator facility daily treatment capacity. Even if the waste is converted into SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) technology, it only sorts out combustible paper, plastic or fiber from the waste that may be mixed with various substances from various sources and homogenizes it to form a single-character fuel.

Yi Chun innovative technology uses patented water treatment technology to clean and sterilize waste diapers, shred, decompose and purify them, and then restore diapers to three raw material grades: PE/PP plastic, recycled fluff fiber (pulp) and polyacrylate (water-absorbing salt) product.
